  22. Don't be silly, it is not the OS, it is the software that is ignoring the
  23. disk-error that the os is reporting to it and continuing to try to read or
  24. write to the disk. The requester simply intercepts the error prior to
  25. reporting the error to the program and having had some marginal floppies and
  26. one marginal hard-drive, believe me, I am glad it was around.
